Polesitter Marc-Antoine Camirand took both poles and both victory this weekend in Mosport giving his BMW M Coupe great exposure at home.

Even though Montreal driver Nick Wittmer (Honda Civic) battled hard to get on top, he had to settle for second best each time, giving up by 0.750 in Saturday’s 30-minutes race and by 1.424 in Sunday’s 20-laps race.

Dave Ciekiewicz completed the podium of the first race in his Subaru WRX STi. Mathieu Audette completed the second podium of the weekend, a fully Quebecker one, on Sunday.

In the Touring class, Anthony Rapone (Honda Civic) did a Camirand of himself, taking both victories. He finished in front of teammate Karl Thomson and Mini Cooper’s P.J. Groenke Saturday. Groenke moved up to second place finish on Sunday, followed by Tom Kwok’s Honda Civic.

The next stop on the schedule is a return to Mosport as part of the Vortex Brake Pads 200 on June 11-13th.
