The Charlevoix Rally was the last event of the 2010 season of Quebec’s Rally Championship. Despite the perfect weather, the event was hectic with only 17 out of 31 teams reaching the end of the event.

Maxime Labrie and his father Robert captured the overall victory, ahead of Steeve Hobbs and co-driver Jean-Mathieu Tremblay, and Maxime Rochefort-Laframboise and Jérôme Millette, in third.
It was a top 4 sweep for Subaru Impreza WRXs this weekend!

In the Jon Nichols’ Cup, reigning champion Simon Dubé and co-driver Pat Lavigne managed to win a second consecutive title, winning their category ahead of Sylvain Vincent and his son Simon, and François-J. Rondeau and Luc St-Laurent. The teams were driving a VW Golf, a Toyota Corolla and a Honda Civic, respectively.

In the Quebec’s Cup, rally favourites Sylvain Bazinet and David Legault were victims of their mechanic early in the event, leaving an open road for Philippe Corbeil and Mari-Lou Leblanc to take the lead. However, it was Carl Tremblay and Louis Dicaire, with a stunning performance in the evening’s stages who finally snatched victory ahead of Corbeil and Leblanc.
