As it turns out, the carmaker was underestimating its very first plug-in hybrid minivan, whose fuel consumption figures actually come out to only 2.6 Le/100 km! The global range of the vehicle thus climbs to 917 km, and 53 km in fully electric mode.
The official city fuel economy rating of 2.6 Le/100 km according to EnerGuide Canada tests surpassed the published figures provided by Chrysler, delighting the company’s top brass. “These EnerGuide Canada test results paint a clear picture of the benefits our customers can expect from driving the most fuel-efficient minivan ever,” said Reid Bigland, president and CEO of FCA Canada.
