2013 marks Michelin's return to the Dakar rally raid.
For 10 years, from 2002 to 2012, it was BFGoodrich that represented Michelin in the famous Dakar. In 2013, the French marque returns, aiming to capture its 16th victory.
The last win dates back to Michelin's last appearance, in the 2001 edition.
It will be present in three categories: "bike", with the Bibmousse tire, "car", with the Latitude C and "truck", with the XZL.
Michelin will also offer tire-fitting services, which means up and around 3,000 operations over the 16 days of the event.
