Korean tire manufacturer Hankook could provide tires for the DTM teams starting from 2011, replacing Dunlop.

The contract between the organizer and promoter of the DTM, ITR and Dunlop ends up at the end of the 2010 season.

Hankook could replace Dunlop starting next season. Hankook is no new to motorsport, having been the supplier of tires to the Formula 3 Euroseries for several years.

Matthias Ekström (Audi A4) and Gary Paffett (Mercedes C-Class) already tested the Hankook tires on the Hockenheimring after the 9th round of the season.
