Whilst testing at the Circuit du Castellet, Toyota has heavily damaged one of its TS030-Hybrid.
Luckily, Nicolas Lapierre who was at the wheel at the time of the crash, escaped the wreckage unhurt. According to Endurance-Info, a driver mistake was not the cause of the accident.
Still, this puts Toyota Hybrid in a tough position, having to rebuild the car before May 5, in time for the race debut of the TS030 at the 6 Hours of Spa.
