Brawn GP driver Jenson Button today beat the best lap time of the week set by Fernando Alonso at the wheel of the Renault.
Yesterday, Alonso set a time of 1:18:343, and today Tuesday, Button clocked a fast 1:17.844, driving a surprisingly quick - and reliable - Brawn BGP001-Mercedes.
Nico Rosberg set the second fastest time in the Williams, ahead of Nelson Piquet (Renault) and Lewis Hamilton (McLaren).
Teams Renault and Brawn have finished their testing programmes for the season. For the next two days, only teams Williams and McLaren will be present.
