F1: Lotus selects drivers for junior team

Lotus F1 Team has revealed a list of seven young drivers.

The seven are aged between 14 and 22 and make the Lotus F1 Junior Team, a group formed to groom young talents up to F1.

They will get both on and off the track training, enhancing their skills in all aspect of the sports outisde the cockpt: physical fitness, health and nutrition, PR, business ethics and principals…

"Lotus F1 Junior Team takes our previous i-Race Professional young driver academy and builds on it," explained team principal Eric Boullier on Formula1.com.

"We're offering and in-depth and highly-beneficial training regime which should encourage these drivers to develop and perform at their very best."
