The Fiat 500X is currently one of the most affordable small SUVs on the market. With its 160-hp engine (around 60 more than the regular 500 model), it competes directly with the likes of the Jeep Renegade. Now the new Fiat 500X Urbana Edition, heavily inspired by the Trekking edition of the 500, aims to make a splash with its upgraded features and specifications sure to please fans of the brand.
One immediately noticeable characteristic of the Urbana Edition is the metallic black exterior and interior elements with copper accents that give it a chic, urban style; the look is complemented by 18-inch black-colour wheels. Buyers can also choose between front-wheel and all-wheel drive.
The exclusively designed interior features Castiglio seats and other black or copper finishing elements that align the insides with the outsides of the vehicles. The Fiat 500X Urbana Edition will be available with three different options packages that feature tempting items like a high-end audio system, panoramic sunroof and FCA’s Uconnect navigation system.
With the addition of the Urbana Edition of the Fiat 500X, the manufacturer is following through on its commitment to growing its lineup of uniquely styled vehicles. The new model will target modern urban explorers, and seems well placed to succeed. The first units are expected to appear at Fiat dealerships later this fall, and will carry a base price of $31,135.
