Formula Palmer Audi frontrunner Jolyon Palmer is the latest addition to the 2009 FIA Formula Two Championship line-up.
Jolyon, son of ex-Formula 1 driver and 1983 F2 champion Jonathan Palmer, finished third in the 2008 Formula Palmer Audi Championship (FPA) in only his second season of single-seater racing.
One of the youngest drivers in F2, 17-year-old Jolyon took victory at Spa-Francorchamps as well as securing 10 further podium finishes.
Along with Alex Brundle and Henry Surtees, Palmer is the third son of a former Grand Prix driver to confirm his place on the 2009 Formula Two grid.
