AKRON, Ohio, - The standard tire fitments for the popular and restyled Taurus model include the Goodyear Eagle RS-A, Assurance ComforTred and Eagle F1 SuperCar. The 2010 Taurus is in production now, with models arriving in Ford dealer locations.
The standard tire for the new Ford Taurus Limited is a Goodyear Eagle RS-A in size P255/45R19, and another Goodyear tire - the P235/55R18 Assurance ComforTred - will equip the new Taurus in its SEL version. Another model, the 2010 Ford Taurus SHO (Super High Output), features a performance package that includes the Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar tire in a P245/45R20 size.
Taurus SHO returns with a 365-horsepower EcoBoost(TM) V-6, all-wheel drive and paddle-shift six-speed SelectShift Automatic(TM) gearbox.
Goodyear tires are original equipment on many domestic and import vehicles, and traditionally, more new vehicles in North America are equipped with Goodyear tires than any other brand.
