Young Quebec driver Mikaël Grenier, who has been confirmed as spokesman of the GP3R for the next two years, will be looking for good results this week-end in Trois-Rivières.
Third already in the first practice session of the week-end on Friday, Grenier was only 0.660 second short of his aimed position: the top score owned by rival Jorge Goncalvez.
With the qualifying session scheduled for this afternoon at 2:35PM and a second practice session this morning, Grenier hopes to be able to maximise his settings to get a much wanted pole position at home.
Grenier had experienced electronically problems both in practice and qualifying last year. A run to the top from 19th to 4th position had impressed many in the race.
