Hankook

South Korean manufacturer Hankook (the name of which actually means "from Korea") offers high quality products including the Ventus line, which includes models for most vehicles on the market, and Dynapro HP for luxury SUVs. The Dynapro brand also has tires for many pickup trucks of all sizes (see our guide on those formats).
Kumho
Another South Korean brand, albeit not as well-known, Kumho also makes quality tires, some of which are really affordable. The regular tires are offered under the name Solus, while the more performance-oriented tires are called Ecsta.

Falken
Finally, let's mention the Falken brand, the Ziex and Azenis models of which are well known. Let's not forget that this company is part of the Sumitomo group which markets some of its products under this name.

Other brands
You will certainly find several other brands on the market, some of which may come from Asian countries. These have not yet acquired the necessary reputation to be recommended by experts in the field. But let us point out a few of these brands that are beginning to emerge. This is the case with tires from Chinese company Sailun, which has a Canadian division seeing to its development in our market, or GT Radial, which has gotten high ratigns from those who tried its products. However, as far as we're concerned, we prefer to stick to the major brands mentioned above for the time being.
