I come back to my comments of the last few years. I have a lot of respect for Pirelli's winter products, including the popular Winter Ice Zero (pending a new product).

However, I've had more opportunity to drive high performance press cars, SUV's and CUV's requiring wide tires and most of them were equipped with Pirelli Sottozero which are in their third generation. These tires have always surprised me with their grip and efficiency despite their notable width. So, if you have a vehicle that would need such tires, the Sottozero are very recommendable. However, you should expect a little less durability!
