Goodyear
American brand Goodyear has too often been ignored by some advisors because they refer more to its origins than to its qualities. In the past, however, its Ultra Grip tires were often praised, although today they're said to be outdated. I don't think that's the case. Today, Goodyear's winter tires are marketed as the WinterCommand model and are just as good as the Ultra Grip and Ultra Grip Ice of the past, if not better. We've had Ultra Grip Ice for years on a front-wheel-drive Ford Freestar and they've never let us down.

It must be said that Goodyear tires are available in various versions and at a good price. For drivers on a budget, the WinterCommand is a good solution.
By the way, Goodyear has just acquired another legendary American brand, Cooper Tires, which has good-quality, affordable winter tires in its catalog.
