Once again, the Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 tire still figures among the most highly recommended products for light-duty pickups in Canada. It’s particularly effective when used on comfort-focused SUVs because of the quiet ride on dry road surfaces that it delivers.
When it comes to plowing through deep snow, most of the vehicles we tested it on were AWD configured, so we experienced no issues at all; the grooves do a good job of getting rid of snow and slush. On the other hand it’s a little more expensive than some competitors.
If your ride is a heavier-duty truck, take note that Bridgestone now produces the Blizzak LT available with a 10-ply carcass able to withstand heavier loads.
