Those looking for a convertible at the Hershey event most likely quite a bit of time looking over this magnificent Oldsmobile F85. In 1963, this car belonged to the compact class, which explains its more... affordable price. Inside, simplicity rules, though in fact the convertible was the most-equipped F85 on the market in 1963. The company offered its model in Standard, Deluxe and Cutlass configurations, but only the latter was available with a soft top. Its price at the time: $2,983. A total of 12,628 units were sold.

You will note that the asking price exceeds our $10,000 limit. You'll understand that we're factoring in the bargaining process.

Asking price: $11,000

We made mention of "newer" cars earlier on. Here's another good example, especially since the car in question has only 65,000 miles of wear and tear on it, or just over 100,000 km. Better yet, this is a car equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. And, hopefully, its value will only increase over the years.

Asking price: $10,500
