19. 1997 Corvette
The 1997 model-year saw the arrival of a new generation, the C5. The Corvette was now a slimmed-down affair, and its performance improved. It also incorporated a host of new technologies, namely a new monobody structure, the use of magnesium in the making of the steering column, increased use of aluminum, a stiffer chassis, etc. The Corvette was entering the modern world.

20. 2002 Corvette
Over the years, several different editions of the Corvette were selected to be lead car at the Indianapolis 500. This is the car chosen for the job in 2002.
