5. Sting Ray Racer Concept

A concept that really foreshadowed things to come was presented in 1959. This car would serve as the basis of the Corvette’s second generation, the C2, which would appear in 1963.

6. 1960 Corvette

If they’re in good condition, Corvette models from the 1950s are worth around $100,000, depending on the version; some editions go for as much as $140,000. The present value of a 1960 is slightly lower than that, but only slightly. Prices generally start at $80,000, with some models busting the $100,000 marker. To find a more “affordable” classic Corvette, you have to start looking at 1963 and later.
