The Old Port of Montreal served as the backdrop for the Canadian premiere of one of the most anticipated cars of 2017: the new Honda Civic Type R.
The contrast between the high-tech car and the 412-year-old town could not have been greater. The car itself is going to be a technical marvel chalk-full of go-fast bits wrapped in seductive although controversial aerodynamics. The very informal event tied in perfectly with the youthful and energetic nature of the car.
The Type R on hand was not a production car, rather a prototype that is very very close to the final product according to Honda Canada representatives. One way or another, we all can’t wait to give this latest hot-hatch a spin!
