Wolverine's X-Men Ride Rocks

Have you seen the new X-Men movie yet? If you did I'm sure you were wildly entertained. X2 is an action-packed, on the edge of your seat kind of movie. The special effects were superb, and the sound effects only enhanced the movie-going experience.
The highlight of the movie for me was when Professor X's school for the gifted was under siege. Wolverine, Rogue, Pyro, and Iceman were running from the bad guys. They were trekking through the underground passages when they came to a room full of ostentatious vehicles. My jaw dropped, it's a given, I'm an automotive journalist! So in a room full of cars, and Wolverine being the only legal driver, which car would he choose? He headed straight for the new, somewhat modified Mazda RX-8. All four of the characters piled in and were speedily on their way.

The RX-8 wore a soft metallic blue colour, with a reworked front grille, modified air vents and a well endowed spoiler on its rear decklid. There were killer rims, and the engine had a sexy kind of purr to it (most likely enhanced by sound technicians). Although its cameo appearance lasted less than two minutes, it was a great two minutes. The interior looked as though 4 people could fit comfortably, and the young X-Men put the stereo system to a test (it blasted N'SYNC). But I am sure we won't see this specific RX-8 hit the streets because it was equipped with X-Men gadgets, including an X-Men cell phone.
