Hyundai Canada has issued a recall on 13,711 Santa Fe Sport crossovers from 2013.
Apparently, a mixture of moisture and road salt may enter the rear parking assist sensors (mounted in the rear bumper), which could result in an electrical short on the circuit board within the sensor cavity.
Since this could cause the sensors to overheat, potentially leading to a fire, Hyundai dealers will replace all four sensors for the rear parking assist system.
