The Peugeot 908 driven by Sébastien Bourdais and Simon Pagenaud set the pole position for the Silverstone Six Hours.
Simon Pagenaud set the quickest lap of the session, after he was already the fastest driver during free practice. The Frenchman was almost a full second faster than the Audi R18 driven by Tom Kristensen and Alan McNish. The second row of the grid will be shared by Montagny and Sarrazin’s Peugeot 908, and Bernhard and Fässler’s Audi R18.
The first LMP1 fuel powered car, behind the Peugeot and Audi, is the Team Rebellion’s Lola-Toyota driven by Neel Jani and Alain Prost. The first LMP2 is the team Strakka’s HPD ARX-01d, with Leventis, Watts and Kane. The Oreca FLM09 driven by Hartshone, Keeting and Keen.
In GTE Pro, the BMW driven by Augusto Farfus and Jörg Müller was quickest, while the Porsche 997 RSR driven by Nicolas Armindo and Raymond Narac was fastest of the GTE Am cars.
