Despite the growth of minivans and crossovers, the traditional family wagon is not dead. One only has to look at Subaru and their Legacy Wagon, a versatile car with a 1,750-litre maximum cargo capacity. The cargo area is actually well thought out; there's even a molded tray that protects the cargo mats. And the Legacy's rear hatch, which is better than the side-opening tailgates found on some SUVs, keeps protecting against the elements when you open it.
