Indian race car driver Armaan Ebrahim is expected to graduate to the U.S.-based Firestone Indy Lights Champion next season, the feeder series of the IZOD IndyCar.

The 22-year old Indian will test with Bryan Herta Motorsport and is expected to contest the 2012 Indy Lights series with that team.

Ebrahim has been competing in the European Formula Two Championship for the past two season.

In 2010, he claimed 10th place overall in the final standings. This year, he currently ranks 12th place with 16 points.
