Sarah Fischer Racing
Sarah Fisher Racing is currently trying to sell its second Dallara, which speaks volumes about the team's financial health. Dollar General remains on board, though.
Ed Carpenter will be the featured driver for the nine events Sarah Fisher Racing will compete in, including six on ovals and three on road circuits.
Rahal Letterman Racing
Fuelled by enthusiastic new co-owner Mike Lanigan, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing is trying to revive its IndyCar program. The team will not only take part in every race on the calendar but also enter the Indy 500 with possibly two cars.
John Edwards, Joey Hand and Buddy Rice have been mentioned. Many believe that Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing might send Jay Howard racing for Sam Schmidt.
Sam Schmidt Motorsports
In addition to acquiring FAZZT Racing, Sam Schmidt announced that Townsend Bell will return to the Indy 500 with Herbalife as a sponsor. The team is also considering a couple of other events with Bell behind the wheel.
Wade Cunningham, the 2005 Firestone Indy Lights champion, is guaranteed a spot for at least three races.
