Former Formula 1 driver Rubens Barrichello will probably be taking another step towards racing in the IZOD IndyCar series as he will be back in the cockpit of a Dallara-Chevrolet next week.
Barrichello, who contested 323 F1 Grands Prix bewteen 1993 and 2011 and scored 11 wins, tested the new DW12 of team KV Racing Technology at Sebring for three days earlier this month.
British magazine Autosport has learned that Barrichello, a very close friend of KV's leading driver Tony Kanaan, another Brazilian, will be back behind the wheel of the Dallara next week, testing again at Sears Point on February 25 and 26.
It is rumoured that KV Racing's owners Jim Vasser and Kevin Kalkhoven have found sponsorship for Barrichello to race a full season of IndyCar racing.
