What are your goals for next year with Toro Rosso?

I don't think our team has set any goals yet because, first of all, it will all depend on the quality and competitiveness of our 2008 car, which is still not fully developed. We're hoping the engineers do a great job of finding the perfect settings. This is crucial: in F1, the car is the main key to success. If we don't find the right settings, we'll be wasting our time. People have been working relentlessly to create a car that would have the potential to win races. Things now are looking up because we're starting from a solid foundation.

In the F1 paddocks, you'll see some of the people who would not hire you five years ago. How will you feel?

I don't care about that. You can't be friends be everybody. I've come a long way and I enjoyed my stay in Champ Car. Now, I'm graduating and I'm focusing on winning races. I'm not saying that I won't speak to certain folks. After all, if you live with regrets or grudges, you won't go very far. I'm just happy to be where I am now and you can bet that I will make the most out of this opportunity. I don't have revenge on my mind. I'm glad that Nicolas' [Todt, his manager] efforts have led to these results and that the plans we set at the end of 2006 have been fully carried out.
