Who hasn’t dreamed of informing another motorist that he drives like an old lady or move over or get off the road? If you feel like you absolutely need to yield to your impulses, you’ll probably be interested in the iRate Driver app for the iPad.
It’s described as a way to “safely” communicate with your fellow road users, allowing you to select predetermined compliments or insults and even create your own comments.
A warning stipulates, however, that developer RC3 Inc. isn’t responsible for the actions of other drivers following the use of iRate and that it should be used only in a stationary vehicle.
Another brilliant example of totally useless the gadgets available for tablets and smart phones that only risk causing even more accidents and cases of road rages or, in the best case scenario, make you look like a complete idiot.
Knowing that people who payed for iRate Driver also bought apps like Talking Baby Hippo and Talking Roby Çelik the Robot (a hip-hopping robot) isn’t even surprising.
