Auto123.com had revealed last week that Alex Tagliani was going to become an IndyCar racing team owner and it is believed now that this announcement will be made today and that the name of the team will be FAZZT Racing.
In his new venture, Tagliani will team up with businessman Andre Azzi while well-known Jim Freudenberg will become the team’s operations manager.
As we had stated earlier, Tagliani’s squad has bought the cars and equipment from former driver/owner Marty Roth and should also moved in a new 30,000 sq.ft building in Indianapolis.
Long-time former Walker team manager Rob Edwards will also come along with Tagliani as he takes over the operational and technical sides of the team activities.
The car’s liveries as well as the sponsors will be presented during the Montreal Auto show next February.
