MISSISSAUGA, ON — John Wright joined Kia Canada Inc. in November of 1999 with the mandate of establishing a strong foothold for Kia in the Canadian marketplace. John achieved this goal, and more, in just over one year. Today Kia has a national coast to coast dealer network represented by over 120 dealers, and growing. Sales are steadily increasing, and in fact Kia just had their first 2000 plus vehicle month. Also, in this years CADA dealer satisfaction survey, Kia took fifth place, only behind luxury marques Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus and Infiniti.
John has helped to develop and train a strong management team in all areas including sales and marketing, parts and service, and finance and administration. In his time at Kia Canada Inc., John has not only helped the company to grow, but did the same for many of its employees. Upon his retirement John will be missed for his contribution to the Kia network.
