At this year’s Paris Motor Show, Peter Schreyer, Kia’s head of design, told journalists from Automotive News that the company’s Telluride concept stands a strong chance of entering commercial production. First introduced during the Detroit Auto Show in January 2015, the vehicle was also notable for being the first from Kia to feature components made with 3D printing technology

“The concept has been accepted very well,” declared Peter Schreyer. “I think it has a good chance to be developed.” The commercially produced version would retain proportions and an overall design that stuck as closely as possible to those of the concept. 2019 is the most likely window for the debut of the Telluride production version.
