Land Rover presented its 2015 model year lineup at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show including the new Discovery Sport premium compact SUV which made its U.S. debut.

Equipped with a 2.0L inline 4-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 240 horsepower, a 9-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive, the 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport seats up to seven in an optional 5+2 configuration. It features a high-strength steel and lightweight aluminum body shell.

Meanwhile, the Range Rover gains further enhancements for 2015. The long-wheelbase version is now also available in the HSE trim (in its introductory year, it was available only in Supercharged and Autobiography variants). It offers 7.3” more rear-seat legroom than standard-wheelbase models, and when equipped with the optional executive seating package, an increased seatback recline of 17 degrees.

Its little brother, the 2015 Range Rover Sport, gets an SVR variant created by the Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations team. It becomes the highest-performance Land Rover vehicle ever, capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.5 seconds and achieving an electronically limited top track speed of 162 mph (260 km/h). The SVO team also specially tuned the 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and 4WD chassis.

The 2015 Land Rover LR4 continues with a choice of two different 4WD systems but adds Land Rover InControl Apps and smartphone integration (optional).

The 2015 Land Rover LR2 will offer two special Value Edition packages and a special-value audio upgrade. Standard amenities include grained leather seating with an 8-way power driver's seat and 6-way power front passenger seat, along with a dual-panel panoramic sunroof.

Finally, the 2015 Range Rover Evoque offers available Reverse Traffic Detection on vehicles equipped with a Blind Spot Monitor, and adds Perpendicular Park to vehicles with Advanced Park Assist. It returns with 5-door and coupe versions.
