Following the premiere of the Lexus LC 500 at the NAIAS in Detroit earlier this year, Lexus strikes back with the launch of the hybrid version at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show. This new coupe, inspired by the LF-LC concept from 2012, features a brand new Multi Stage Hybrid System offering exhilarating performance and greater efficiency.

It’s also the first Lexus to benefit from the company’s all-new, premium rear-wheel drive platform.

Under the hood of the Lexus LC 500h is a 3.5L V6 rated at 295 horsepower, an electric motor producing 44.6 kilowatts, and a lithium-ion battery. Total output is 354 horsepower, allowing sprints from 0-100 km/h in less than five seconds.

Up front, the latest interpretation of the brand’s signature spindle grille motif features chrome trim and a radical new mesh design of varying visual tension. The “L-Finesse” design language gives the car a dynamic and athletic stance, enhanced by 20” or 21” wheels. You’ll also notice the arrow-shaped LED daytime running lights, triple LED headlights, sloping roofline, and L-shaped LED taillights.

Inside, leather is everywhere. The décor reflects a level of Takumi craftsmanship and attention to detail for which Lexus is globally renowned.
