The Lola Rebellion-Toyota, driven by Neel Jani and Nicolas Prost, set the best lap in qualifying and will start in front for the opening round of the Le Mans Series championship at Le Castellet.
The Lola Rebellion and the Quifel team’s Zytek set the pace in practice sessions, but at the end of qualifying, it was the Lola that was quickest, ahead of Collard, Tinseau and Jousse’s Pecarolo-Judd, and the Zytek Quifel driven by Amaral and Pla.
The new Aston Martin had difficult debuts at Le Castellet. The car only ran one single lap on Friday, before it set the 11th best performance overall (last LMP1, behind six LMP2).
The LMP2 category was dominated by TDS Oreca-Nissan driven by Beche, Thiriet and Firth, while the quickest Formula Le Mans car was the car driven by Moro, Marroc and Shanqi.
In GT Pro category, the Ferrari F430 AF Corse set the best performance with Giancarlo Fisichella and Gianmaria Bruni, while a Porsche 911 IMSA Matmut, driven by Nicolas Armindo and Raymond Narac, was quickest in GT Am.
