The all-new Mazda MX-5 roadster and RX-Vision concept are among the winners of the prestigious Automotive Brand Contest awards for 2016. The former won in the Exterior Volume Brand category, while the latter took the Concept category.
These awards will be presented in Paris at La Maison des Polytechniciens on September 29th.
Less than a year after coming to market, the fourth-generation (ND) 2016 Mazda MX-5 has already won more than 70 honours including 2016 World Car of the Year and 2016 World Car Design of the Year.
Much credit goes to the brand’s highly acclaimed “KODO – Soul of Motion” design language. Mazda successfully built the perfect roadster with sleek, sporty lines, a sensational cockpit, and tons of driving excitement.
As for the RX-Vision concept, what can we say? It’s simply breathtaking. In fact, this preview of Mazda’s future rotary-powered car won Most Beautiful Concept Car of the Year at the 31st Festival Automobile International in Paris early this year and then the 2016 Car Design Award’s concept car category in Turin last month.
