As fans of exotic sports cars the world over surely already know, the McLaren 570S Spider made its global debut in recent weeks, becoming in the process the third member of McLaren’s Sports Series family.
The rear-wheel-drive two-seat convertible, the most affordable ever produced by the British automaker, houses a 3.8L twin-turbo V8 that generates 562 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. Acceleration from a stop to 100 km/h takes just 3.2 seconds, and the car can attain a top speed of 328 km/h with the roof up (315 km/h with the top down). Pricing starts at $247,500.
