Ducati Marlboro Casey Stoner ended a perfect week-end with a victory at the British Grand Prix that took place at Donington Park over rivals Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa.
With this win the Australian is now in third place in the MotoGP championship having move ahead of Jorge Lorenzo but he is still a long way from leader Valentino Rossi who is now 45 points ahead.
Dani Pedrosa had a remarkable start going up from ninth to fifth in the first lap with his Repsol Honda. After overtaking teammate Nicky Hayden and Andrea Dovizioso the Spaniard finished in third place behind Fiat Yamaha Rossi.
Jorge Lorenzo had an impressive race as he finished 6th after having started at the 17th spot.
