Charlottetown, Final preparations are underway for the inaugural PEI International Motoring Festival.
The Festival, set to take place July 25-26 in Confederation Landing Park, will shine the spotlight on the Lotus, showcasing the design development of the British car from the 1960s to today. In addition, participants and spectators will be treated to a collection of European and American automobiles, as well as an impressive contingent of exotic cars, including a brand new Lamborghini.
"Our goal is to provide spectators with a comprehensive overview of the evolution of the automobile industry from the mid-1900's to today" explains Organizer, Daniel Manibal. "We've got the major European makes- British, German, and French, covered. What we would like to see more of are American muscle cars. I encourage everyone who owns one to bring it down to the Festival and participate in what is ultimately going to be one spectacular show".
Beyond the participation of dealers, over 100 individual owners have pre-registered their vehicles for the show to date. Interested individuals may register online at www.peiimf.com or in person at the Confederation Bridge office, 43 Queen Street, Charlottetown.
