Canadian Tire's Peter Gibbons won the Crown Jewel 200 at Cayuga on September 10. Following Gibbons home were Don Thomson Jr., Dave Whitlock, Jeff Lapcevich and Brad Graham, who rounded out the top five. The CASCAR series finale is set for this weekend at Kawartha Speedway.
Pete Shepherd III, CASCAR's top rookie in 2004, drove the #20 GE Lighting / L.E. Walker Chevy at Cayuga. The Brampton, ON racer will also drive for Mid-America Freight in next weekend's CASCAR finale at Kawartha Speedway...

wins at Flamboro Speedway
Kevin Crowhurst took his O'Connor Transportation Dodge Intrepid to victory on Saturday night at Flamboro Speedway in race 11 of 12 in the Ontario Pro Challenge Series. Second went to Ken Nicholson in his International Truck and Engine Pontiac Grand Prix, and Dennis Thomson secured his top spot in the championship with a third place finish. The Ontario Pro Challenge series will wind up this weekend at Sunset Speedway.
