so - for organizations that promote responsible use of alcohol to be all over this incident, and just how that will effect NASCAR remains to be seen.
How big is this issue and this incident? Very little was even mentioned about the actual chase, the very thing we are all interested in. This story consumed the entire event news, and lost was a very good fourth place finish by Tony Stewart, which helped him pad his points lead to 52 over Jimmie Johnson. would have to have a terrible weekend to lose this chase. If you think any driver other than Edwards or Johnson is going anywhere near the 20 of Stewart next weekend, you will be really surprised. For sure, in the drivers meeting, NASCAR will make it abundantly clear that there is a championship on the line, and they don't want it decided by something like a car one lap down taking out Stewart.
