North American Car of the Year finalist: Volvo S60
We’ve had a first go at the new Volvo S60 sedan and came away from the experience dutifully impressed, and that is actually putting it mildly. For starters this is a simply stunning-looking sedan, and the interior is as elegant and refined as you could hope to find. Not that we’re really surprised given the Swedish automaker’s recent track record.
The S60 is built on the manufacturer’s new Scalable Architectural Platform, and it has been restyled for this new generation to bring it more into line with the rest of the Volvo lineup.
Maybe we should just ignore those disquietingly low rankings Volvos have been earning in reliability surveys…
