New Lexus ad to air during Super Bowl XLVI

To mark the arrival of a new series of models in 2012, Lexus is piggybacking on the popularity of the upcoming Super Bowl XLVI. On February 5th, the luxury automaker will air a new commercial during a major sporting event for the first time, hoping to reach an audience of around 50 million viewers.



A 15-second preview of the spot is available on Lexus’ Facebook page and YouTube channel. The full 30-second commercial stars the new 2013 GS and will air during the first half of the Super Bowl.

To build suspense and draw football fans before the big game, Lexus is also launching a Twitter initiative dubbed “TweetDrive Engineered by Lexus,” which airs on NBCSports.com. The grand prize is a trip for two to an NBC Sports event.
