As reported last week, Volkswagen will unveil a significantly updated Golf in November, possibly at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The countdown has officially begun.
Today, Volkswagen looks back at the second-generation Golf (MkII), born in the late 1970s as an evolution of the original Golf's design DNA. That’s when the “Golf Phenomenon” came about.
The Golf MkII became bigger and more aerodynamic while introducing some progressive new details and radical new features (for instance, the taillights were moved much further up on the rear bumper).
Enjoy the following video and come back in the next few days for more information about the new Volkswagen Golf.
