Last month, Nissan teased fans and the media with an intriguing picture of the new Nissan Pathfinder Concept, set to debut at the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, beginning on January 9th.
Many of the attributes that have defined this Japanese midsize SUV will remain including its 7-passenger seating capability, smart technology, and generous cargo room.
On the other hand, the Pathfinder's signature boxy styling will make way for a more organic and aerodynamic silhouette highlighted by a number of chrome accents. Designers are also striving to give the vehicle a more upscale and sophisticated look.
The Nissan Pathfinder Concept is just a first taste of what the automaker has in store for the 2013 model year. Expect the production version of the Nissan Pathfinder to hit the market this fall along with several other products that will also be on display at the NAIAS.
