At the International Automobile Exhibition in Guangzhou, China, Nissan took the opportunity to unveil the Sunny, the Japanese automaker’s latest global sedan destined for sale in 170 countries under various names. The industry’s observers are predicting that the model is the next Sentra.
The Sunny will be powered by a 1.5-litre engine coupled with Nissan’s continuously variable transmission, which will ensure excellent fuel efficiency, according to the manufacturer.
As for the suspension, the sedan will be supported by MacPherson struts up front and a torsion beam in back, allowing a sporty and agile ride at low speed while ensuring better stability at high speed.
Nissan hasn’t confirmed if this new model will be replacing the Sentra in Canada and the US.
