Stuttgart. Malte Radmann was appointed the chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche Engineering Group GmbH and Porsche Engineering Services GmbH, Weissach, on October 1, 2009. In the two subsidiaries of the Stuttgart manufacturer Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, he followed Dr. Peter Schäfer, who simultaneously changed over to the manufacturer of the sporty premium vehicles, where he assumed management of the main division Undercarriage Development.
Thus far, Radmann has served as a member of the executive board of the two subsidiaries and head of the commercial departments, which he will continue to manage. Dirk Lappe, who has been in charge of the area Engineering and Electronics at Porsche Engineering since 2002, is also joining the management team and is taking office as the Technical Director.
Porsche Engineering fills development orders for automobile manufacturers and suppliers from around the world. The company supports customers throughout the entire process of automotive product creation in the development of components, systems, modules and complete vehicles. The Weissacher engineers always have their eye on the complete vehicle thanks to the bundled expertise of Porsche as a series producer.
