Transport Canada has announced the recall of 3246
2013 Hyundai Santa Fe and 384
2014 Kia Sorento crossovers. On certain FWD vehicles equipped with a 2.4L engine, the passenger side axle shaft could fail. This could result in a loss of vehicle propulsion which could increase the risk of a crash or allow the vehicle to roll away if parked on a slope, despite the transmission shift lever being set in the PARK position.
Dealers will replace the right front axle-shaft assembly.
