General Motors of Canada has issued a recall on 4,927 sunroof-equipped Chevrolet Malibu sedans from the 2013-2015 model years. Apparently, the roof panels could close automatically when the non-recessed portion of the “Slide” or “Tilt” switches are pressed and the roof panel is open.
To fix the problem, Chevrolet dealers will update the Body Control Module (BCM), which will remove the "one touch" (momentary actuation) feature for certain switch positions. Affected owners will not be charged, obviously.
