Just why it's taken nearly two years for a top-tier hotel in a section of the world where the majority of citizens are in love with anything automotive is difficult to understand, but the ultra-premium BMW division hasn't exactly been burning up the sales charts like Volkswagen-owned rival Bentley.
Nevertheless, the Phantom delivery was a cause for celebration and a private ceremony was held in honour of the event amid the Pudong Shangri-La's picturesque cocktail garden overlooking the Bund.
